ABOUT US

The Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center has been a hub for artistic and creative community in Sugar Loaf, NY since its construction in 1992. Originally known as the Lycian Center for the Performing Arts, this venue was the vision of its creator Mr. Richard Logothetis, Owner and President of Lycian Stage Lighting. Surrounded by eight acres of beautiful mountain and lake views, Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center has a capacity of 689 seats and has housed international touring companies, summer concert series, gallery exhibits, film festivals, weddings, community educational programs and many more.

Owned by the County of Orange, the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center is committed to providing the residents of Orange County with a thriving arts and community facility. We aim to bring in and host both local and international artistic performances, events, as well as educational and community involvement programs. We are dedicated to the enrichment of the County residents, as well as the management and sustainability of the Sugar Loaf Performing Arts Center.
